Did You See The New Poll?

Robin Carnahan's East Coast liberalism lost in Massachusetts! The Bay State said no to an Obama rubberstamp like Carnahan! Instead, the most Democrat state anywhere chose our own Scott Brown! Now, pollsters and pundits are saying that Missouri looks good for Roy Blunt, a conservative who stands and fights for the basic common sense and values of our great state.

Rasmussen Reports released a poll last week showing Roy Blunt leading Robin Carnahan by six points (49%-43%). According to the poll, Roy leads with independent voters by 20 points. This is the fourth consecutive poll showing Roy Blunt leading with independent voters.

Roy said everything we need to know about taking a lead in a poll:

"The only poll that matters is the one on November 2."

That is how we win elections in Missouri. We think like we're ahead, and then we work like we're behind, every single day, until the polls have closed. I welcome surveys that show us doing well with independent voters (Scott Rasmussen and others), and analysis that gives us an edge at this time (Larry Sabato, Charlie Cook).

You already know the liberal extremists will use every trick in their book, starting with a flood of left wing money from the East and West coasts. They already spent $1 million on false attack ads. Why? The outside left wing interests desperately want Rubberstamp Robin doing whatever the Washington liberals tell her to do.

Roy is a problem-solver who sees big government as the problem and Missouri ideas as the solution. Roy Blunt will bring Missouri ideas to Washington and our victory in November means that America will get back on the right track to a future of freedom, job creation and prosperity, fiscal sanity, and Missouri values and common sense.

We can bring common sense to Washington and stop the liberal extremists in their tracks, right here in Missouri. But we can’t do it without your help, starting right now, right through Election Day in November.

Best,
